Ashlee & Edward Lemon Wedding

What an honor it was to accompany Todd Williams of Magnolia-Studios to the Blackville-Barnwell, SC area to Second Shoot a charming southern style wedding. The church was filled to capacity for the traditional ceremony that celebrated the love of Ashlee and Edward Lemon. The celebration continued at an amazing reception held at The Shelton House, a pre civil war home owned by the grooms Grandparents. Music, laughter and fireworks filled the night air making it a picture perfect day for the lovely couple!

Kaci Gentry

This is the beautiful Kaci Gentry. She is the closest thing I've seen to a real live Barbie Doll. She is the type of client that makes culling images very challenging as every shot from this photo session was perfect. Her natural ability to pose and and her adorable outfit choices made these some of my favorite portrait images to date. Special thanks to my friend and fellow photographer Laura Richardson for running lights on this shoot.

Baby Annabelle

Tiny fingers, tiny toes
Little itty bitty clothes.
Ruffles, ribbons and pretty curls
I'm tickled pink you had a girl!

Congratulations to my friend and fellow photographer Laura on the arrival of her adorable Annabelle. What a fun afternoon I had photographing this little bundle of joy. I couldn't get over how thick her hair and eyebrows were. At six weeks old she is already full of personality and certainly is one of the prettiest babies I have seen. I'm certain this was the first of many sessions to come.

Kim Burnette

Proverbs 31:29-31 "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

This is a living picture of the Proverbs 31 woman - my friend and neighbor Kim Burnette. Kim was diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year and is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy simultaneously. The past few months have been very painful and difficult for her but through it all she has shown grace and strength. There have been days that she could hardly eat or even get out of bed but you never hear her complain or ask "why" this has happened. Instead she continues to be a ray of sunshine to everyone around her. She doesn't talk about her cancer very much unless asked specifically about it because she is always so focused on others and how she can be an encouragement to them. I have often heard the saying, "genuine faith walks with God for the pleasure of his company not His results" and this has been so true for this beautiful lady. Kim doesn't know why she got cancer or how it will end but continues to delight in the Lord, walk by faith and trust Him. She is a blessing to all that know her!

Legacy Park

Legacy Park at Verdae is located in Greenville, South Carolina. It features more than 10 acres of picturesque greens, miles of paved walkways, tranquil water features and a Volley Ball area making the park an ideal place for playing catch, riding a bike or walking the dog. The beautiful stone Cabana is the perfect place for a family picnic or social gathering.

HDR photography stands for “High Dynamic Range”. It creates photos with gorgeous, impossible detail and clarity. It is an art form of its own almost guaranteeing that no two photos will ever look alike.
