There are many factors that affect the outcome of a portrait - composition, lighting, focus, posing and the finished method of developing the images all greatly influence the look of the subject as well as the overall feel of the photo. My recent portrait session with Jo Rae Johnson was one such example. Her vibrant personality and willingness to pose through several stages of light - sun, sunset, and moonlight made for a diverse shoot.
Being in front of the camera is not a new experience for Jo Rae. She is a published author and has appeared on local television and radio programs. Her nationally published articles and books promote her love of God, family and home. Jo Rae's goal is to inspire women to use their God-given talents to create a sanctuary where they live.
