Wilmington, North Carolina
Wilmington, North Carolina is a coastal town situated in southeastern North Carolina. The city is bordered by the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean. It is hometown to basketball icon Michael Jordan and journalist David Brinkley along with many other famous people. It is also home to the WWII Battleship USS North Carolina (BB-55), a war memorial opened to tourist. Its historic downtown has a one-mile long Riverwalk attracting visitors from all around the world. Wilmington is also home to EUE Screen Gems Studios and has become a major player in American film and television production.
