Shannon and I went to high school together so I was thrilled when she contacted me about photographing her intimate wedding ceremony. It was a beautiful fall day as she and Mark recited their personal vows in front of some of their closest family and friends in downtown Greer's city park. Shannon's handsome sons escorted her to the decorated gazebo where the ceremony was held. It was difficult to hold back the tears as the couple stood on a blanket of sand while "Footprints in the Sand" was read - a poem near and dear to their hearts. Their deep love for God and each other was obvious to all who were there. The couple danced to one of their favorite songs, then enjoyed cake before driving off into the sunset on Mark's motorcycle.
