Jerelle Brown Bridal

I was happy to assist Todd Williams of Magnolia Studios with this bridal session shot at the beautifully restored historic Duncan Estate in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It was my first bridal portrait experience and it could not have been with a more amazing bride. Jerelle was not only lovely but had a charming personality to match. I instantly fell in love with her ornate wedding gown, traditional veil and stunning "Something Blue Shoes" - Manolo Blahniks based on the ones worn by Carrie in Sex and the City. I learned a great deal about posing and lighting and had the opportunity to shoot at various locations throughout the property. Several months later I had the privilege of being Second Shooter for the couples beautiful wedding celebration.

Belin United Methodist Church

South Carolina's coastal area is full of scenic views but one of my favorite places to visit is Belin United Methodist Church. Belin was founded in 1925 and is one of the most picturesque spots on the inlet. It is nestled beneath majestic oaks facing the tranquil waterfront of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Prayer benches surround a simple white wooden cross inviting you to spend time in prayer and enjoy the view of the marina.

Ashlee & Edward Lemon Wedding

What an honor it was to accompany Todd Williams of Magnolia-Studios to the Blackville-Barnwell, SC area to Second Shoot a charming southern style wedding. The church was filled to capacity for the traditional ceremony that celebrated the love of Ashlee and Edward Lemon. The celebration continued at an amazing reception held at The Shelton House, a pre civil war home owned by the grooms Grandparents. Music, laughter and fireworks filled the night air making it a picture perfect day for the lovely couple!
